Tyne River Trust

A meeting this evening at the Hexham Racecourse function room organised by the Tyne River Trust was quite the most inspiring event I have been to recently. The room was packed with at least a couple of hundred people.

Presentations were made by the scientific staff, showing the wide range of activities being under taken. Aerial photography of startlingly revealing detail, wild life surveys, landscape projects and all manner of other evaluations and projects were demonstrated.

This is an organisation that puts our constituency right at the forefront of such activity. Their contribution cannot be praised too highly.
